When I was writing/recording this instrumental piece, I was aware that I was subtly emulating a favourite tv show theme song from the 1960s – "The Theme From Route 66" by Nelson Riddle & His Orchestra. I know that my song, "Mojave Highway", doesn't sound anything like it, but that was my sonic and vibe reference.
