This is another one of those instrumental songs that seeped into my brain and wouldn't let go. I had this melody on my mind for months before I ever did anything with it. My working title for the piece was "That Song", because it was 'that song' that was popping into my head incessantly.

When I finally got into recording it, my original sense of what the song was changed quite a bit. What I ended up with is what you hear on this album.

I found an old b&w 1940s movie clip of people jitterbug dancing. When I watched it with That Song playing in the background ... that was it! ... the perfect dance feel for the song. Jitterbug and jive in the kitchen. That's what the song sound like to me.
