I initially struggled with the title for this instrumental track. It was another one of those songs that evolved in the recording of it – surprises came along the way, and it seemed that all the right sounds and ideas emerged just at the right time to totally 'take over' the piece. It's almost like the song wrote and produced itself. I love it when that happens.

This particular song percolates brightly with such a nice, gentle positive vibe. Ultimately, it just felt like I had to name it "The Last Vibrations of Summer" – the same title that I came up with for a new painting of mine that is now the cover image for the album. Then it became clear to me that this was, in fact, the title song for the album ... "The Last Vibrations of Summer".

This songs reminds me of how much I enjoyed the song "Tillicum" by Syrinx which became the theme song for the CBC television series, "Here Come the 70s". Well ... Here Come the 2020s ... it's "The Last Vibrations of Summer"!!!
