I had originally intended "The Last Vibrations of Summer" to be an instrumental album. My plans changed when I wrote some new vocal songs that I was excited about. "What is Behind the Moon" was a song that still made it to this album. Another instrumental song that was intended for "The Last Vibrations of Summer" was one called "I Wasn't There". I ended up putting it on my last album, "Impossible World" by Wilfred N & the Grown Men, in 2022.

On "What is Behind the Moon", I wanted to create a feeling of floating in space into unknown worlds. Towards the last part of the piece I think I achieved that, and I'm now looking for good space video footage to make a video for it.
